Chidushei Torah חידושי תורה

The Chidushei Torah program cultivates Torah scholarship among bochurim by introducing them to the art of written Torah composition. Through a structured submission and review process, bochurim learn to formulate, research, and present original insights — developing skills that will serve them throughout a lifetime of learning.

Participants receive writing guides that walk through the fundamentals of composing a chiddush: how to identify a genuine question, how to build a structured answer from primary sources, and how to express Torah thought clearly in writing. Annotated examples from previous cycles serve as practical models throughout the program.

Selected chiddushim are reviewed by rabbinic faculty and published in the annual Igud Yeshivos Chiddushei Torah journal — giving bochurim meaningful recognition and real experience in Torah publication. The program is open to bochurim across all participating yeshivos in the network.
